Megha Dugar

Biography

Megha Dugar is a Partner at Karpūra Partners. She advises and represents businesses, financial institutions and individuals in commercial litigation, dispute resolution, arbitration, civil and corporate disputes, and family law. She regularly appears before the Supreme Court of India, the Delhi High Court, the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) and various civil courts, commercial courts and tribunals in a broad range of contentious matters.

Her practice encompasses commercial and contractual disputes, shareholder and company law disputes, arbitration, competition law, consumer litigation, real estate and property disputes, SARFAESI proceedings, testamentary and succession matters, as well as matrimonial and family disputes. She works closely with clients from the early stages of a dispute, advising on litigation strategy, risk assessment and resolution options, with a focus on practical, commercially effective and client-centric solutions.

Prior to co-founding Karpūra Partners, Megha was associated with Karanjawala & Co., where she advised and represented clients in a wide range of commercial disputes. She previously practised in the Chambers of Mr. Ramji Srinivasan, Senior Advocate, and earlier with ASA Legal Services LLP and Patine Law Offices, where she represented companies, financial institutions and individuals in commercial, civil and regulatory proceedings before various courts and tribunals.

Megha is enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi and is a member of the Supreme Court Bar Association and the Delhi High Court Bar Association. She graduated with a B.B.A. LL.B. from Symbiosis Law School, Noida, and obtained her LL.M. (Business and Corporate Law) from Symbiosis Law School, Noida, where she was awarded the Certificate of Merit for securing First Rank in the programme.
