Shruti Pandey

Biography

Shruti Pandey is a Partner at Karpūra Partners. She advises and represents businesses, financial institutions, insolvency professionals, investors and individuals in commercial litigation, insolvency and restructuring, arbitration, and corporate advisory. She regularly appears before the Supreme Court of India, the Delhi High Court, the Allahabad High Court, the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) and the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) and various civil courts, commercial courts in a broad range of commercial disputes.

Her practice encompasses a broad range of commercial disputes, including contractual and corporate disputes, shareholder conflicts, regulatory proceedings, arbitration, and matters arising under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. She works closely with clients from the early stages of a dispute, advising on strategy, risk assessment and resolution options, and regularly represents them before courts, tribunals and arbitral forums.

Prior to co-founding Karpūra Partners, Shruti was associated with Chandhiok & Mahajan, Advocates & Solicitors and Karanjawala & Co. She previously practised in the Chambers of Mr. Ramji Srinivasan, Senior Advocate, and earlier with ASA Legal, where she advised and represented banks, financial institutions, insolvency professionals, companies and individuals in commercial litigation, insolvency and company law matters before various courts and tribunals.

Shruti is enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi and is a member of INSOL India and INSOL International. She was selected for the INSOL Future Leaders Programme 2024, an initiative of INSOL International that brings together emerging restructuring and insolvency professionals from across jurisdictions. She graduated from the Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi in 2017.
